Southeast President Letter

In this newsletter:

Had a great spring rally in St. Augustine, we are making plans to go back in April 2020. Fall rally in Fort Myers is filling up, we are at half capacity already!

Christmas Rally registration is now available on line and via mail!

Registration for January Rally at Lazydays is available on line, there is no upfront payment required.   We are way ahead of past years registrations! Early days are available.  Register now!

Welcome to our new members!

Southeast had a great spring rally at St. Augustine with sixty people attending.  Thanks go out to our outstanding rally coordinator Doug Thompson and our hosts John & Jill Schafer and Jack & Joani Brier.  Southeast’s own Larry Hornsby and Roger Davis brought some great entertainment to a bonfire that was provided by the campground, their talents are always appreciated!    We have already started planning a return to St. Augustine in April 2020!

We are looking forward to a great national rally at Spearfish!  There are at least twenty-four Southeast coaches registered, six are first time attendees to a National Rally!  We are planning for a three-day pre-rally at the same location as the National Rally.

Southeast has several rallies on our calendar and we are planning more!

The next chapter rally will be in Fort Myers at the Gulf Waters RV Park. This is the highest rated premier RV Park in the area and we look forward to a new adventure! Registration is taking place!

Southeast will have our annual Christmas Rally at Sun-N-Fun in Sarasota.  Sun-N-Fun is a luxury facility that is widely recognized as one of the premier resorts in the world.  Our experienced rally hosts Terry & Belinda Moorefield along with Dave & Ann Laudick and Wendy Gaynor are already at work to provide a fun filled rally!  Registration now available!

We already have received nearly half of our registrations for the 8th Annual Regional Rally at Lazydays.   This rally will be a little different in 2019.  Based on comments we have received opening night will be more socially oriented (background music only).  The rally will also be shortened to three nights with meals each night.  Early days are available!  The rally will end on the morning the Supershow rally begins.

We are going back to the Florida RV Supershow in January 2019.  There were 40 SEACA coaches in attendance in January 2018 and it was a lot of fun.  Everyone seemed to get along just fine on the 30A power, no water, no sewer.  There is an agenda posted on www.myamericancoach.com and www.southeastaca.net.  This rally is run by the Florida Recreational Vehicle Trade Association (FRVTA) and registration will not be available until fall.  Please note that this rally sells out fast.

Our “Adventure at Fort Wilderness” at Disneyworld in early February 2018 had twenty-three coaches in attendance.  The feedback was very positive, and we have already planned a “Return to the Wilderness” in February 2019.  A lesson we learned was that people wanted more days available so for 2019, our agent (Hilda) has blocked our sites from February 1, till February 10, 2019.

We are working on our rally schedule and would welcome your input!  Southeast has several regular annual rallies, but there is room for different events.  Our recent St. Augustine rally was a first-time event and the rally sold out.  After polling the attendees, we decided to schedule a return in 2020.

We are looking for new locations that can accommodate us and hosts to help make these events happen!  It’s time for a rally in Georgia, Alabama or Mississippi!

Information, agendas and registration for our rallies is always available at www.myamericancoach.com and www.southeastaca.net.
